- What is Green Monarch Health Practice?
- Green Monarch Health Practice is the telehealth psychiatric practice of Kenneth Levesque, PMHNP-BC, offering medication management for adults across North Carolina. Services include evaluation and treatment for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and related conditions via secure video visits.
- Is Kenneth Levesque a psychiatrist or a nurse practitioner?
- Kenneth Levesque is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), an advanced-practice nurse with specialized training in psychiatric diagnosis and medication management. PMHNP-BCs provide the same scope of psychiatric care as psychiatrists in North Carolina, including prescribing medications.
- Do I need to live in a specific city to use telehealth?
- No. You must be physically located in North Carolina at the time of your appointment, but you can live anywhere in the state. All care is delivered via telehealth.
- How do I book an appointment?
- The fastest way to schedule is through Tebra, where you can view Kenneth's availability and verify insurance. You can also call 1-980-506-7585 or email klevesque@greenmonarchhp.com.
- Does Kenneth accept insurance?
- Kenneth accepts most major insurance plans through Tebra. When booking, enter your insurance information to check coverage and estimated out-of-pocket costs before your first visit. For patients with insurance, you only pay for any amount that isn't covered by your insurance. Depending on your insurance, most people pay between $5-40. Without insurance coverage, the cost of your initial visit is $250. Follow up visits are $180.
- What ages does Kenneth treat?
- Kenneth currently serves adults ages 18 through 65. If you are seeking care for a minor or someone outside this age range, please contact us for guidance on appropriate referrals.
- Can ADHD medication be prescribed via telehealth in North Carolina?
- Yes. North Carolina permits PMHNP-BCs to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe ADHD medications through telehealth when clinically appropriate, following state and federal regulations for controlled substances.
- What technology do I need for a telehealth visit?
- You need a device with a camera and microphone (smartphone, tablet, or computer), a stable internet connection, and a private, quiet space. Sessions are conducted through Tebra's secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.
- How long is the first appointment?
- Initial evaluations typically last 45–60 minutes. Kenneth uses this time to review your history, discuss current challenges, explain confidentiality, and begin developing a treatment plan together.
- What conditions does Kenneth treat?
- Kenneth treats ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma and PTSD, panic attacks, OCD, impulse control disorders, grief, sleep disorders, stress, and related conditions in adults.
- Is telehealth as effective as in-person psychiatric care?
- Research consistently shows telehealth psychiatry is clinically equivalent to in-person care for medication management. Many patients prefer the convenience, privacy, and reduced travel time of video visits.
- What should I do if I am in a mental health crisis?
- If you are in immediate danger or having thoughts of suicide, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room. Green Monarch provides ongoing psychiatric care, not emergency crisis services.
- Can I transfer care from another psychiatric provider?
- Yes. Kenneth welcomes patients transitioning from other providers. Your first session will include a review of your current medications and treatment history to ensure continuity and safety.
- How often are follow-up appointments?
- Follow-up frequency depends on your treatment plan. New patients typically have more frequent visits initially (every 2–4 weeks), then transition to monthly or quarterly check-ins as symptoms stabilize.
